She made me sort through all of my old toys and whatnot that were sitting in the corner of the basement. It’s outrageous how much stuff you can accumulate over the years. So basically I made one giant pile and all that’s left to keep are LEGOs (and other generic construction toys), board games, puzzles, and a few other things that are really important to me.
We’ll need to go through the “discard” pile one more time to sort trash from charity, get rid of the trash, and make a stop at Goodwill. I don’t really like having to throw stuff away like this, but I need to learn to stop being such a pack-rat. Oh well, it’s all good in the long run. Too bad I’ll have to do this to my room soon enough, and then once again when we move… whenever that ends up being.
:/
In other news, my grandma’s coming to visit from California on Thursday, and she’s staying for a good 2 or 3 weeks.
And now I’m going back to my book. Never thought you’d hear that from me
