Whoa!
Let’s let that sink in a bit…
Whoa!
Ok, you get the point.

I’m not going to say anything that’ll ruin the book for all those who haven’t yet finished it, but I have to say, the Prince is definitely not who you think it is. Well.. maybe not definitely.. he’s a character that’s been around since the Sorcerer’s Stone, but he’s not anyone who was commonly thought to be the Prince… at least to my knowledge…

Man.. I just finished the book about an hour ago, and I still can’t believe it. The book wasn’t actually all that great until the last 75-100 pages (you actually don’t find out who the Prince is until 40 or 50 pages from the end). There are no outrageous battles with Voldemort and no new villains (does that qualify as ruining the book), but there is tons of new information and well… information.

I still can’t believe it! Du–… no.. I can’t tell you… ;)

So now that I’m back into the real world, it’s finally starting to dawn on me that I’m not going back to Dacula… 3 weeks till we restart, and once again, I really will be restarting… :(
Gah! If and when I have kids, I’m not moving. Ever. No one should have to go through crap like this…

If I didn’t still have summer reading left (still! after I’ve already read two books…) and that essay, I’d go back and read the entire Harry Potter series straight through… hmm… maybe I’ll be able to fit it in. I dunno, Old World Encounters is intense (it took me more than 45 minutes to read 10 pages, and I’m not entirely sure what it was about)…

I’m hoping this was logical as I’m far too lazy to reread it…

Edit: I just checked to see how long the books are.. lol. The whole series thus far is 3,365 pages. :O
And at my rate of a page a minute (it’s freakish. it’s
exactly 60 seconds a page), that would take… 56 hours and 5 minutes… Man.
At the moment, I’d rank them: Half-Blood Prince, Prisoner of Azkaban, Chamber of Secrets, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Sorcerer’s Stone, but who knows how that’ll change in the future…
