So let’s take a look at my summer reading list:
Tuesday’s with Morrie – Mitch Albom
Old World Encounters – Jerry Bentley
Monkey – Ch’engen Wu
What was the author trying to convey about the culture and history of the inhabitants of the novel (<2 pages)

Yes, that’s right; I’m done.
I’m not sure how I’ll do on that Old World Encounters test seeing as my brain fell asleep several times while reading it, but… that’s going to have to be okay…

Anywho, I’m about to start reading the entire Harry Potter series.
And I’m not posting again till I’m done reading :P

So I’ll leave you with a list of what’s left to read
Sorcerer’s Stone (7.24.05)
Chamber of Secrets (7.25.05)
Prisoner of Azkaban (7.26.05)
Goblet of Fire
Order of the Phoenix
Half-Blood Prince

And to make things better, I just remembered I have a bag of gummy worms in my desk.

So long and no thanks for the Swedish fish.

edit: I said I wouldn’t post till I finished the books (half-way through Sorcerer!), so I’ll just have to add it to this.
My dad screwed up the pressure washer (turned it on when the water was turned off; propeller melted), so he took it to this Persian mechanic that can fix just about anything, but decided not to get it fixed and buy a more powerful one. So Mr. Persian Mechanic says he can rip the engine out and build a go-cart around it :O That would be pretty cool… and why not? It’s just going to sit around useless in the basement… but the engine’s only 5HP, so I dunno…
We’ll see what happens

re-edit: Debo came back from Mehico today. He’s such a pyimp. :)

I’m about to do that to. Have to buy paperback Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban before i do though. They’re not holding up to well, others are fine though. All i have to o is read Shadow Puppets. Maybe i’ll beat you. Yeah, right.

Debo says:

Hey has anyone read the dumb books we have to read yet. Cause i Haven’t started. And which one is better?

Josh Job says:

To Debo: Ender’s Game is better. Didn’t read Dracula, but Ender’s Game is one of my favorite books, excluding Harry Potter of course. Definitely top 15.

[...] I think I’ve had a nice long weekend. A nice blend of home-staying and out-going. I got finished with reading the second half of Old World Encounters and I did a good bit of work on my Science Fair report. [...]
