So it’s come to my attention that until the last month or so, I’ve basically been in denial about Brookwood, and I’ve been subconsciously awaiting my return to my proper home.
It’s come to my attention that that won’t be happening terribly soon…
This weekend was rather stupendous. Particularly Saturday between the Ishmael discussion (which I attempted to PWN?) and the Youth Gathering. My parents invited the neighbors over on Sunday to get to the know them. They decided to tell me about an hour or two before the matter, so I ended up watching cartoons with a 10- and 5-year-old for two hours.
5 über points to whoever can tell me what movie the title of this post came from.

So it’s definitely been a life changing weekend
- I drove for the first time on a public road without dying (as opposed to the other time I drove on a public road and did die?)
- I read an entire chapter in my World History book before 9:00AM on a Sunday.
- I voluntarily went through my notes.
- I finished reading The Da Vinci Code. Ending was rather disappointing…
- I graded somewhere around 200ish Spanish tests.
- I realized that by Friday, I’ll have 4 of my 6 Beta points for the semester.
And this weekend marks the beginning of the most hated part of the year, which is obviously February. February wasn’t that bad last year, but at least I’m not running this year…
- Still memorizing my recital piece.
- I have to start practicing 3 hours of violin (in addition to 3 hours of piano) a week.
- After school rehearsals every Thursday till 3:30.
- Ruhi Book 6 on Tuesday nights for the next 2 or 3 weeks.
- Essay on Ishmael sneaking up.
- End of the month means I have to start gathering the dates from the powers that be for the Baha’i Calendar I’ve been roped into making every month.
- I’ve got to make my sister’s _________ for her birthday
- And fasting next month.
I wanted to start running on my own in March, but I suddenly realized a few days ago, that’s probably not a good idea.
Anyhow, that bulleted list thing was strangely comforting…
I’ve started researching majors a bit… If I go to GT, I’m thinking Computer Sciences or Civil Engineering? That sounds like me…
Of course, there’s always optometry…

I’ve decided to end my 2 week hiatus from posting.
It would have ended long ago if there was any motivation for me to write…
:cough:
comment losers!

So. I’m pretty much busy as all hell.
But not really, just because I’m lazy.
First, I’m ranked second in the class again. I’m not complaining, but it’s hella annoying. (Oh crap… I just said hella…) No one even knows who number one is.
Second, I was thoroughly unimpressed with my PSAT scores. I gained one point on the PSAT scale (10 on the SAT) from last year. Great. Wonderful. Obviously I’ve learned and developed a lot in the past year.
Most importantly, I finally freaking got my permit. I drove around the neighborhood twice this weekend, and I honestly have to say I think I’m pretty good. And I’m basically the master of reverse.
Well… Piano recital is in just over a month. I’m excited, and I know that after what happened 3 (or was it 4?) years ago, I will do at least alright. But my piece is pretty long and intimidating. I should probably umm… start memorizing it.
Georgia Large Group Performance Evaluation is in just over a month as well. (I think it’s the same weekend…) Normally not a big deal at all. Except for the fact that I have a freaking solo. We have to turn in practice records for the next six weeks starting next Monday. Three adsl;fkaer hours a week. Ugh. With a cherry on top.

I’m starting to get frustrated with myself. I spend my school days waiting for the weekend, and my weekends waiting for school to start again.
I know everyone says these are the golden years, and it’s only going to get worse and more difficult from here, but I’m really hoping I’m an exception.
I really want to to go to college. I feel like I’m ready to start working towards a career. I feel like I need to gain some independence. Hell, I want to hurry up and get married.
At least time is going by quickly.

Vacation is over.
Laziness has seen its end.
Reason to cheer has fallen.
And so we must return.
First, I have some California pictures on my Flickr. I’ll add the rest whenever they come into my hands…
First day back… meh. My hate for AP classes has been rekindled, and I’ve realized my true love for Coach P (and the rest of last year). English is dull as ever, and Algebra continues to pass me by. I’m now re-situating myself as principal 2nd violin, but Gu, it would, seem is better off without me. Stupid concertmaster. To add insult to injury, 3 hours of practice a week starting next week.
Chemistry is now my favorite class, though many would slaughter me for saying that. It’s the only thing that seems to capture my interest albeit it is utterly useless. Sra. Barrett still seems to love me as well.
I’ve figured out my GPA for sure, and report cards come a week from tomorrow.
I was completely disappointed with the lack of comments I received while on vacation. Perhaps other things captured your interest during the holiday season, but Armin is here again.
Joackim got a minibike for Christmas and broke it before I had a chance to ride it.
Anybody else here?
