I made the mistake of putting my address on the PSAT this past October. I was smart enough not to in 9th grade, but I’m now being attacked by an onslaught of mail and it’s oh so very stupid.
Ok, these schools are spending thousands of dollars a month in advertising to high school students, right? Then why is every single letter the same. Same format. Open the top, “Business Reply Mail” card first, then the letter (which when unfolded reveals a smaller card in the middle). The letter is in the same format. Always has random words in bold, tells me about how great they are, and how great their campus is. Nothing about major options, why I should care.
On top of that, they all have a cheesy PS at the bottom including a username (Armin) and a password that I can use to access the same online guide that I read about in the last letter. Suspiciously, all of the passwords from the letters I just opened were 10 digits and started with a 7.
You’d think if these folks really cared and wanted us to go to their school, they’d spend a few thousand extra and develop a unique mailing list…
So far I’ve only gotten a letter from one school I’ve heard of.

If someone does or says something that offends you or someone else you know, is it justified to “seek revenge” by purposely doing/saying something similar to what they did?
