So I’ve been aware the past few days that I have not posted at all this month. Such a thing can not occur, of course, because my failure to post during this fine month would result in “April 2007″ being left off of the archives list in the sidebar. Such a travesty is easily avoidable, and thus all necessary means should be devoted to rectifying this issue. Which is why for the past week I have progressively put off posting here.
April has been a rather exciting month. My term paper has been completed and turned in as of last Friday (6 pages!) and I have had far too many tests, quizzes, projects, and homework to be legal. This week continues to be crazy with my Physics final taking place this Wednesday (5-8:30 after school…) a solid 3 weeks before finals are supposed to take place. I’m excited… and that wasn’t entirely sarcastic.
I realized today that there are only 14 regular school days until final exams, and that’s not counting the fact that I’ll be missing 2 days for AP exams. Yes, that’s right. Next week will be 4 days followed by a 4 day weekend. If you ignore the 4 hour tests on Friday and Monday.
Regardless, the year is almost over, and that’s a scary thought. This summer will be bringing a job. I’ve already applied at Staples, and as soon as school is out I’m going to apply at pretty much every place that will accept me. This also raises the question of the motor vehicle, which I’m pleased to report has been acknowledged by my father. After he paid taxes, my dad told me to start thinking about what kind of car I’d like to get, and before anyone goes loco, we’re talking used. Of course, it took me about a week of looking at every listing on Craigslist to find the ultimate car: 1994 Honda Accord EX approximately 69% pimped out. But that was shot down due to: 1) age, 2) mileage on body, 3) possibly shady engine replacement. Oh well. At least he’s willing, right?
