A picture is worth a thousand words.

My new car, Stacy.
More pics on flickr.
I’m too lazy and tired to write more right now.
I’ll update this before I leave for California (with pics of her after being meticulously detailed).
edit: 08/09: I didn’t update! woohoo!

Not July 31st
July 5th, 2007
Before I begin, I most point out something rather distressing. The picture should speak for itself.

OK.
Now I shall share my schedule for the rest of the summer.
July 5-16: Finish as much of my summer assignments as possible. First priority: AP Lang.
July 17: Senior Pictures
July 17-19: The culmination of all I’ve been waiting for my entire life. Overstated? Definitely.
July 19: Fly to California.
July 21: Last Harry Potter release party. Attend if at all possible.
July 21-26: Youth Institute at Bosch Baha’i School.
July 27-August 6: California, FTW.
August 7: Fly home…
August 8: Birthday. Sweet.
August 9: Orientation at school.
August 13: First day of Senior year.
Among other things: must see Ratatouille, must see HP5, must finish AP Calc BC assignment, and desperately want to go to White Water between coming back from California and going to school.
It’s finally really setting in that I’m going to be a senior. That’s scary, but freaking awesome. This blog dates back almost all the way to the beginning of high school, and now we’re just a hop, leap, and a bound from the finish line. I still remember the night before the first day of high school when my sister came in and told me to enjoy high school because it would be over in a flash. I can honestly say that I’ve loved the experience (10th grade wasn’t so hot), and I have grown a lot (particularly this last year). But I’m starting to think that maybe I’m ready for the next step — independence and self-reliance. And maybe that isn’t so bad…
