Funky Ride
April 27th, 2008
I wrote the first draft of my graduation speech earlier today, and I’m quoting Third Eye Blind. My life is complete.
I’ve decided to revive Pokémon during AP exams, a la 9th grade. When I was a thug.
On a completely related note, white cars are for the win. Particularly the G35 coupe and IS300.

The weather is impeccable, to say the least. It’s been 78°/58° all week, and I can’t bear to ever say goodbye.
We have passed the one month remaining until graduation mark. Right now we’re looking at exactly 4 weeks. Wait… 3 weeks, 6 days, 23 hours, and 45 minutes. It’s legit at this point.
It sort of sucks that school is ending and is totally unnerving to think that I could choose to end my education now and enter the so-called real world. Whatever. I don’t think I’d be any good at the real world.
I was informed yesterday that I have to figure out the title for my graduation speech by this Friday, and I have to turn in a draft of it in 3 weeks. Uhh… that’s about the time I was planning on starting it.

Beware! Criminal

I’m eating Swedish Fish, and they’re delectable.
Something clicked on Monday night, and I’m suddenly totally relaxed and waiting for the end of the year. It must be the weather. Glorious, glorious warmth.
At some point soon I should starting working on my speech for graduation… Except I don’t want to.
I need a job, and I haven’t done homework in ages!

So like, I’m graduating in 50 days.
Huh? How did this happen? What happened to the Iroquois in 3rd grade, those crazy Presidents, and Shakespeare? All these years I’ve been complaining that school is too long, too drawn out. And know I really think it shouldn’t be ending — at least not anytime soon.
Yesterday was D-day for most big colleges, and I’m suddenly less than pleased with Georgia Tech. I wish I had least applied to MIT and UCB. But after seeing how well I deal with rejection (I still don’t understand how I didn’t get PS), perhaps it’s good that I didn’t. I’m sure I would have ended up at lovely GT anyway.
But Berkeley sounds really good right now…
edit: So I probably should have remembered to mention that I’ll be busy at GWU on May 30th and 31st. Sort of this National Science Olympiad Tournament we got invited to. I think because we won first place in state. By how many points? Oh, 50 or so…
