I don’t think I really learned much during the past school year. I wasn’t really challenged by any of my classes, and things turned out a little too easily.
The one thing I’ve learned this year is to expect nothing. Everything turns out better when you keep an open–and empty–mind.
Evidence:
- Scholarship interviews: fail
- Random $500 scholarship (x2!): awesome
- Pessimism about Science Bowl and Olympiad: sweet
Therefore, expect nothing and you will be pleased.
